Living Brave & Thriving

In today’s world, women lifting up other women has never been more important. Living Brave is a vision started by two women, Hilda Villaverde and Mary Beth Stern. They encourage women to bravely share their stories related to love, business, and life. Living Brave teaches women to thrive by learning from the experiences of others. No two experiences are the same, but what we take from others can help us in our own lives. They hope women sincerely sharing their stories will give other women the tools they need. Their mission is to help women feel more fulfilled and be healthier versions of themselves.

Hilda and Mary Beth have written three books and frequently speak at events. The first two books dive into stories centered around themes that we tend to ponder about a lot. For example, love, intimacy, and spirituality among others. They are preparing to release their new book, Living Brave: Women In Business. Overall, this book features stories by women in business who are making a difference. It is filled with stories they hope women will identify and grow with.

Kay McDonald, CEO and founder of Charity Charms, is one of the women featured in the book. She also collaborated with Hilda and Mary Beth on a custom Living Brave charm bracelet which will be unveiled at their upcoming event.

Voices of Success: A Day of Inspiration for Women

On October 27, 2018, these inspiring women are hosting an event, Voices of Success. This event will launch their new book and engage other professional women through storytelling. Notably, 15 women featured in the new book will be serving as guest speakers at the event to share their unique stories. In addition to these presentations, there are other featured events and even a few surprises!

This event is a great opportunity to meet with women in the community who have joined the Living Brave movement. During the event, you’ll learn how to overcome roadblocks, become financially sound, and learn new ideas for your business. Furthermore, you’ll be making meaningful connections with like-minded women. By and large, there is plenty of fun and inspiring lessons to learn at Voices of Success.
