Last week we attended the annual Cause Marketing Forum Chicago! If you don’t know, the Cause Marketing Forum (now Engage for Good) brings together nonprofits and businesses. Collaborations are key to cause marketing and its effectiveness. We learned so much during our time at the conference.

Cause marketing ultimately brings together nonprofits and corporations to spread awareness and raise money. Their collaborations uniquely benefit their communities in new ways. Moreover, the reach is wider and people are more compelled to give. In other words, as consumers of businesses they trust, they believe in the causes these corporations get behind. Cause Marketing Forum engages consumers to create social impact. As a result, corporations are increasing their corporate social responsibility which is important to their consumers.
