The Pepsi Refresh Project is a great new idea to help causes and ideas. In other words, it helps them get the funding needed to help change America! Thousands of submissions are available and voters get to decide whose idea or cause will win a grant.
About the Pepsi Refresh Project
The Pepsi Refresh Project is an initiative to award $20 million in grants to individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. These individuals or organizations must have an idea that has a positive impact on the community. Each month 32 causes can receive a grant. Grants, in particular, ranging from $5,000 to $250,000. In addition, various categories of service were available for submissions. This makes the impact and reaches of organizations even wider.
Pepsi is even launching Power Votes on their sodas. In essence, these power votes are a hybrid loyalty program and crowdfunding tool. Each code ranged from 5 to 100 votes and the denomination becomes revealed once a code is redeemed.
