STARS Gets a New Facility

Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is a great organization. In short, they provide services to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities. Additionally, their mission is to provide people with special challenges the opportunity and resources to achieve their highest individual levels of independence. In other words, help them achieve personal, social and economic independence. We are proud to have STARS as one of our jewelry manufacturers. Specifically giving adults with disabilities work opportunities assembling our GivingBands®.

STARS Brand New Facility

They are relocating programs to a new facility that will provide them with tools to better serve for disabled individuals. For example, improvements mentioned in their latest newsletter.
 
First, the relocation of their Evans site to the Special Needs Community Campus at Cholla. In particular, this campus offers larger classrooms for day programs not to mention a larger work center. In addition, it features a special Autism classroom and expanded vocational training programs. Together with wellness and recreation opportunities plus benefit acquisition services, this campus will largely benefit everyone.

Overall, Charity Charms is excited about the move. We are certainly looking forward to continuing our wonderful relationship with this group. in brief, we love the STARS mission! Especially how it enables people to learn valuable skills to use throughout their lives. Correspondingly, we get to participate in their mission and help out our community!
