HEAL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mothers undergoing active cancer treatment, regardless of their marital status or cancer type. Based in Arizona, HEAL provides outreach and assistance to mothers with at least one dependent child. Through fundraising efforts and donations, HEAL distributes gift cards to help cover monthly expenses incurred due to cancer. Despite challenges, HEAL remains committed to its goal of never turning away a mother in need. The organization relies on the generosity of donors, who are the lifeblood of HEAL, to continue supporting mothers as they recover from cancer.

Bridges Reentry has a vision to empower women with skills to integrate into society and live honest, sober, and self-sufficient lives. Their mission is to create a survivor led program of housing, healing, recovery, and sustainable economic empowerment for women who have experienced incarceration. Through their various programs and community partnerships they are assisting women every day.

Our Project Together: Beaded bracelet with custom charm used to bridge women together. They will be given to mentors and their female mentees as a token of their support for each other.

While there are many women’s leadership organizations, Take The Lead sets themselves apart from the rest. Take the Lead prides itself on being comprehensive and transforming women’s relationships with power and that allows for higher levels of intention. The program is collaborative, and above all, teaches women how to manage the world as it is today while changing it. This is crucial because having the tools to handle the current environment is necessary in order to create a  better, more equitable, future.

SUPPORT FRESH START WOMEN’S FOUNDATION

WomenHeart was founded in 1999 by three women who had experienced heart attacks and the many obstacles associated with them including misdiagnosis, inadequate treatment, and social isolation. They began as a tiny support network but have grown to be the only national network of patient support groups across the country with nearly 100 in more than 30 states. Today they continue their efforts to build a network of support, connection, and important information for women to utilize throughout their heart journey. 

Our Project Together: WomenHeart created a sterling silver Embracelet and pewter Charm Fob featuring their new logo. These items were given to donors through various tiers to raise money for their incredible mission.

Since 1977 Sojourner Center has offered shelter and support services to more than 60,000 adults and children affected by domestic violence. They assist over 1,000 people each year more than half are children. They are the only domestic violence shelter in Maricopa County that offers a pet shelter so victims of domestic violence don’t have to leave their pets behind. A startling 85% of people experiencing domestic violence won’t leave the situation if they feel they must leave their pet behind.

100+ Women Who Care Valley of the Sun is a chapter of the 100+ Women Who Care, an organization driven by the desire to make a difference. The group is made of philanthropic women capable of doing great things for the community and love to give! They host quarterly giving circles where 100% of member donations are given to selected local charities. Their overall goal is to raise funds, exposure, and awareness in a unique way. In order to make a big impact, they have a set goal. Each quarterly meeting is intended to raise $10,000 for a local charity in one hour with the overreaching goal to give $500,000 over 5 years to local nonprofit organizations. Women from all over the Valley come to participate in giving circles to make an impact.

Our Project Together: Custom beaded bracelets with 100 Women Who Care logo charm. They were given to community members to bond them together with a common purpose.

They believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, and that all children deserve to live in a safe environment that promotes their healthy development.
